This holiday season, you have more options to help you get the best price on what ever you have more options available. Most of what I will be discussing in this article will be available via iTunes or the Android/Amazon Marketplace.

I use 3 or 4 apps to scour the web to find the best deals, and I would like to share them with you.

ShopSavvy which is one of the original barcode scanning apps that came out. It was first started on the Android G1. It allows you to scan a barcode and then search the internet for the same product using  just the upc of the product. You can get it for Android | iOS | Windows Phone 7 via the app stores or from  http://shopsavvy.mobi/

Amazon Price check is available for iPhone and Android, it allows you to do the same thing as Shopsavvy but it is just for Amazon. I personally use this app more than any other app as I find it easier to make my purchases off of Amazon rather than wasting my time in Holiday lines.  You can download this app from iTunes or Amazon for Android

My next app recommendation is a craigslist app. There are many free ones that help you search craigslist. You can always find a good deal on Craigslist.
