Google+ vs Facebook My Review and Thoughts
Now that there are more people on Google+ maybe it is time to post some of the thoughts about the newest kid on the block. It has all of the features that Facebook is currently lacking, the option to group chat with video and audio. Facebook will be adding these features soon with Skype, but Google+ just added a few web based games and will be expanding the selection of games soon, as they will release the api to allow developers to create games for Google+ I have been on Google+ since they were in the first week of beta and I use it every once and a while, and use both G+ and Facebook daily, and can see where Google+ can and will succeed. Mainly after Facebook publishing all of it’s user’s contacts to the web, and Google has never done a thing like this. Google understands privacy as where Facebook is making it up as they go along and don’t care what it does to it’s users in the long run as long as they are making money. Now this is just my opinion but they keep having privacy issue after privacy issue. Then Facebook hired a public relations firm in New England to put out bad press against Google on privacy while trying not to get sucker punched with another privacy complaint.
On Google+ my only complaint could be that I get too many people randomly adding me to their circles and then my feed is all jacked up with reposts about crap that I don’t want to read about. I have started to put the general users that I don’t want to follow into a circle and turned off the access to my feed for that group, but it should not be that way.
But I am happy they are both around because I like both networks and look forward to see how the competition will make them both better platforms.
